As an independent Prep School we can offer truly bespoke advice to parents on the most suitable schools for their child, rather than being affiliated to any particular school or group. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our future schools, both independent and state, and the Co-Heads work closely with families to look at the academic profile of the child, as well as family circumstances, to help select the right secondary school, where their child will be happy and thrive.
To support parents and final year pupils, we organise a Senior Transfer Evening every two years, where we invite a large range of senior schools to exhibit. The evening is open to all parents who want to find out more information about senior schools.
As part of the preparation for entrance exams we hold preparation sessions. These begin in Year Five and offer pupils the chance to practise and fine tune the specific skills needed when sitting entrance exams.
At the end of Year Six, we are thrilled to be able to send our students on to a broad range of high-achieving, popular and happy schools, which will offer them the best possible start and opportunities for the rest of their academic life. In recent years children have also received academic, sports and art scholarships to a range of schools.
